Top Tips for Team Captains
Top Tips for Team Captains Here are a few points for getting your team together:
1. Get a squad togetherAlthough touch is 6 a side it’s fast. Very fast. 2. Get someone else to pay.If you have influence over corporate spend you may be able to get the business to write the cheque. To make this more likely prepare a case to get the funding. Make sure you include the following pointers: o Put the company name in your team name o Identifiy how the profile of the business will be raised o Choose team colours that reflect your corporate livery o Commit to write regular reports of your team performance and get it posted to this site.
3. Collect the money upfront If you need to self fund the entry then a fee of £120 is £10 per player for a squad of 12. If you want to get some kit together why charge £25 per player. That represents great value for money. £20 for a tee shirt and 10 weeks exercise is not far short of genius. There might even be a bit left over for some “social” activities. That’s it, you should be all set. Now all you need is 11 mates….
